Crystal Clear Christian LIFE

This world is full of experiences and most of them make us feel bad and sound also bad. Human beings are becoming more and more self concentrated and greedy to live their own life not caring for others. I don't mean that we need to care and do all for everybody, but there seems to be no humanity found. For and example to say... God has given me all that I need and still I am trying to make myself happy even though I see someone who is in need. This reminds me of the story that Jesus told about the Richman and Lazarus. Why could not the rich man see Lazarus who was needy? I would not say that the Richman had to give all his property for Lazarus, but he could have at least given a day’s meal which would help the poor beggar to survive. Something could be done, but the Richman ignored Lazarus and finally God too had to reject the rich man because of his deeds. The Bible clearly teaches that we will reap of what we sow on earth. So why not be careful and thoughtful of what we do and say.

In 2012, God gave me a simple message and that is to be CRYSTAL CLEAR. Well, what would this mean when I heard this in mind? I was not clear and then I was touched reading a verse from 2 Corinthians 4:1, 2

2Co 4:1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
2Co 4:2  But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

2Co 4:1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;” sound the joy in doing this ministry even though he had to suffer hunger, or being bet many times for the sake of the Gospel. There appear words of being proud enough in doing the glorious ministry handed to him by God the Father and Jesus Christ. Another point I saw was that Apostle Paul was giving a message about God’s Mercy bestowed on them or to all who were doing the glorious ministry and another voice speaks to me where it tells that Paul depended upon God’s mercy to do all that he was ordained to do and so he boldly says “we faint not”. Can we say so? Do we say so? We all are so disappointed when we do the ministry. We always look towards others hands for financial support, or for any kind of help rather than on to God, who is nearer to us. We have it only in words, but in actions we are lagging behind. We, the lazy or the OK attitude group cannot compare with any bold characters that we find in the Bible or who lived never looking downwards but with their high esteem of calling themselves the Children of God or Servants of God.  For Apostle Paul, this ministry is GLORIOUS. Do we feel the same!!!

St Paul, a great leader and servant of Christ Jesus was reminding me of the ministry that he had obtained from Christ Jesus. A ministry in which he was moving forward and forward even though there were lot of hindrances. His words
I happened to look the meaning for the word ‘glorious’ and it meant some more interesting words like: superb, magnificent, splendid, wonderful. These words are more life giving and it sounded like a familiar word that I use when something great happens in life or when I achieve something that I am eagerly waiting or wanting for. I have some knowledge about video editing and one day after I was able to complete a project I was working on for several months, many said or described it as a magnificent work/job and so did I too. I was filled with joy and later I was eager to show many the work I had done. Paul is talking about this joy in doing the ministry God gave him to do. He never did it for others; neither did it with struggles or with murmuring… Apostle Paul enjoyed in what he did for the Lord and his Saviour Christ Jesus.

2Co 4:2  But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

This is averse that we all need to look closely or have to dig deep to find living water coming from deep beneath. To have a glorious ministry and to experience that glorious ministry, Apostle Paul mentions some of the steps involved.
  1. REJECTED THE HIDDEN: We have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty. The things of dishonesty are nothing else but plainly to be said as hidden things in life, which will not tolerate the light. Paul says that those who practice them are, or should be, ashamed of these hidden things, especially when they are identified in each one. Such hidden things the apostle did not allow, but renounced and avoided the hidden things with indignation.
  2. NO MORE MASKS ON FACE: Not walking in craftiness, this means not to be in disguise, acting with art and cunningness; but in great simplicity, and with open freedom. They had no wicked masks covered with fair and something that was good.
  3. GAVE PURE MILK: Nor did they in their preaching handle the word of God deceitfully; but, as said before, they used great plainness of speech, and did not make their ministry serve as if they were saying one thing and they acted in another manner. They did not cheat the people with falsehood instead of truth like some do, mixing more water in milk and selling it in more diluted form which could not be found out at one glance. The apostles acted not like such persons, but they manifested the truth to every man's conscience, declaring nothing but what in their own conscience they believed to be true,  so that it would serve for the conviction of their consciences who heard them. The reason Paul and the apostles did so was to make the listeners or followers judge for themselves, and to give an account for themselves.
  4. SERVICE TO GOD:  And all this they did as in the sight of God, desirous thus to commend themselves to God, and to the consciences of men, by their undisguised sincerity. To be commended by others for God’s glorification, whether it be a ministers or servants of God or believers in church, the main thing involved would be that every individual should be steadfast in obedience to the truths of the WORD of God; and sincerity or uprightness will preserve a man's reputation, and the good opinion of wise and good men concerning him.
The treasure of the gospel light and grace is put into earthen vessels. The ministers of the gospel are weak and frail creatures, and subject to like passions and infirmities as other men; they are mortal, and soon broken in pieces. And God has so ordered it that the weaker the vessels are the stronger his power may appear to be, that the treasure itself should be valued the more. There is an Excellency of power in the gospel of Christ, to enlighten the mind, to convince the conscience, to convert the soul, and to rejoice the heart; but all this power is from God the author, and not from men, who are but instruments, so that God in all things must be glorified.
